What To Say When Looking For Network Prospects

It’s not what to say when looking offline for potential business associates, it’s what to ask and the power of attitude posture that will determine how many people will watch the video at your website.

Wrong Attitude Posture:
If you think you’re looking for people to get in your business, most of the ones you approach will either say no, give you a hard time, cause you to hesitate, stammer or be at a loss of words when they grill you for more information. That’s why people are afraid to approach friends, family, associates or acquaintances.

Get it right! You are not approaching people so they can get in your business. You are approaching people to identify those who are willing to take a look.

Right Attitude Posture:
“It’s not what people say, it’s the music they play” that counts. You want prospects to qualify before you show them the opportunity. The biggest qualification is “Are they willing to take a look?” Here’s an example approach which demonstrates what to say when looking for a network marketing prospect:

“I started a brand new company on the internet. It’s growing so fast, I need some help. Who do you know that might be open to taking a look at a way to make some money on the internet?”

If “Yes” – Ask for their name and give them a call.
If “No” – Say – Fine, keep it in mind.
If ” What is it?” – Got a pen? Go to (web address). If you like what you see we’ll talk.

If they say: “How much is it?” or “Tell me More!”  or “How much are you making” “How long have you been doing this?” Say – The 5-minute video on my website explains it all. If I give you bits and pieces, you’ll decide on partial facts and I’m not going to do that. If you like what you see, we’ll talk.

Our attitude often shapes our abilities. Charles Schwab said: ‘ “When a person puts a limit on what they WILL do, they put a limit on what they CAN do.” ‘ Approach all of the people you know in addition to using the internet to generate leads.

When you’re thinking about what to say when looking for a prospect, remember that you’re “looking for lookers” and not approaching them to necessarily get in your business.

Great stuff as usual Kevin, congratulations!

This is terrific information a whole new way to look at building a business. I prefer to interview those who may be interested in building a business rather than the other way around. Tire kickers can be sold if the approach is correct. I am the toughest to convince of opps, so I get the idea of dealing with the difficult questions as I would be asking them also.

You hit the nail right on the head! Prospecting off-line and knowing what to say when looking for prospects is challenging for most of us. In showing us the power of the right attitude posture, you have eliminated the fear of rejection factor. Thank you for a great video presentation.

Some great advice yet again kevin. A great way for people to get in your business. Thanks so much for all your hard work and dedication.

Great advise AGAIN as usual Kevin. Words to live by. I look forward to another post and another chance to learn something great from you.

Kevin, no matter how often I read it or hear you say “It’s not what to say” when looking for potential business associates, “It’s what to ask” I am continually impressed with your methods to teach all willing students and your willingness to share what others would keep to themselves. Thanks for your leadership example.Pat

Love the video Kevin! You are totally a great leader to follow. Thank you for all your training.

Thanks Kevin, I really struggle with answers and all you advice is priceless and so is leadership!
