Someone Call Security – It Is Found Within

Someone Call Security! Let me share something with you that you might be caught in – the trap I was caught in.

Many years ago, when I read Think and Grow Rich, I was sitting in a Fire Hall. I was earning $4,000 a year and I owed $6,000. The Chief was only earning $11,500.

That book inspired me to set a goal. I started cleaning offices in Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Cleveland, Atlanta and London, England.

The truth was, I was earning more money every month, than the Chief was earning all year! I didn’t like being on the Fire Department and I was afraid to quit. I thought it represented security. It was a false security.

Security is an inside thing. If you haven’t got it there, you haven’t got it. I was afraid to do the thing I really wanted to do.

Are you holding yourself back from doing what you really want to do? I want you to spend the next 5 minutes and say, “What do I really want to do? Am I scared? Am I holding myself back?”

Go through that terror barrier! Go do what you really love! Think about it. Spend 5 minutes thinking about it. Then spend all day thinking about it.

Remember, security is an inside thing. If you haven’t got it there, you haven’t got it. If you think it’s a JOB and you lose your job, you’re totally demoralized.

What do you really want to do? Spend 5 minutes thinking about it and then DO IT! Someone Call Security!

Questions To Answer:

1. Are you holding yourself back right now?

2. If yes, what is giving you a sense of security?

3. Do you like what you do for a living?

4. What do you really want to do?

5. What are you going to do right now to do something about it?
