The Law of Compensation

Let’s talk about The Law of Compensation.

Hi there. It’s Bob Proctor with another Six Minutes. Driving here to record this session for you today, Jerry Robert and I phoned a man and we sang “Happy Birthday” to him. His name is Mark Moffett. I had to compliment him, at the end of singing to him. Everything he does, he does it very well. He distinguishes himself and I don’t think I’ve told him that before.

The Law of Compensation states, the amount of money you earn is always going to be in direct ratio to:

1. The need for what you do
2. Your ability to do it
3. The difficulty there will be in replacing you.

Do you know that #1 and #3 is pretty well taken care of? The need for what you do and the difficulty there is in replacing you. They will be taken care of if YOU take care of #2.

Make up your mind, you’re going to become VERY GOOD at what you do. Just work every day at developing your ability to do whatever you’re doing, better than you’re doing it.

I want you to spend 5 minutes really thinking of what it is you do. What makes you different? The ask yourself, “How can I get better at it?” All day long, start thinking, “How can I get better at this?” I guarantee you, your income will go up!

The Law of Compensation guarantees it.

Questions To Ask:

Write down these three statements and circle the second one.

1. The Need for what you do
2. Your ability to do it
3. The difficulty there is in replacing you

What makes you different?

How can you get better at what you do?
