Habits – Where Are You?
Where Are You?
There are two points that are absolutely essential, if you want to be successful:
1. You’ve got to know where you are
2. You’ve got to know where you’re going.
Almost all the self-help material focuses on where you’re going. I believe that I experienced phenomenal success very fast in my life. I went from nothing, to over a million almost overnight because I had a coach that got me to focus on where I was!
He said, you’ve got to take a look at the habit patterns. You’ve got to look at the things that you do automatically every day, without giving any conscious thought to them. That’s where you are!
How do you live your days? What do you do? When do you start? How do you treat people? How do you respond or react to what’s going on around you? Pay attention to the habits that are controlling your life.
A habit is an idea that’s fixed in the subconscious mind that causes you to behave like you do, without giving any conscious thought to it.
I saw that I had some habits that needed repair. Do know the beautiful part about breaking a bad habit? When you replace it with a positive habit, it’s almost like compounding your effectiveness!
I want you to spend the next 5 minutes in really looking at where you are. What do you do habitually, every day? How do you meet and greet people? How do you work? Take a look at your habit patterns. What time do you start? How do you approach what you’re doing, habitually?
Think about it all day! Where Are You?
Questions To Answer:
1. What habits are controlling your life?
2. What positive habits can you replace them with?
